Periodic Boundary Value Problems for Second-Order Functional Differential Equations
Upper and lower solution method plays an important role in studying boundary value problems for nonlinear differential equations; see 1 and the references therein. Recently, many authors are devoted to extend its applications to boundary value problems of functional differential equations 2–5 . Suppose α is one upper solution or lower solution of periodic boundary value problems for second-orde...
متن کاملInitial value problems for second order hybrid fuzzy differential equations
Usage of fuzzy differential equations (FDEs) is a natural way to model dynamical systems under possibilistic uncertainty. We consider second order hybrid fuzzy differentia

where ω > 0, : C([0,ω]) → L([0,ω]) is a linear bounded operator and q ∈ L([0,ω]). By a solution of the problem (1.1), (1.2) we understand a function u ∈ C̃′([0,ω]), which satisfies (1.1) almost everywhere on [0,ω] and satisfies the conditions (1.2). The periodic boundary value problem for functional differential equations has been studied by many authors (see, for instance, [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8,...

متن کاملSolvability of Periodic Boundary-value Problems for Second-order Nonlinear Differential Equation Involving Fractional Derivatives
This article concerns the existence of solutions to periodic boundaryvalue problems for second-order nonlinear differential equation involving fractional derivatives. Under certain linear growth condition of the nonlinearity, we obtain solutions, by using coincidence degree theory. An example illustrates our results.
